The Eden Highline is the perfect greenhouse where height is an important consideration. The extra high eaves gives you a lot of extra growing space.
The kick plates, which are available in both a mill and green finish. not only give your greenhouse a more exclusive look but also protect it from stray stones thrown up from your lawnmower.
What gives a tomato its taste is the amount of salt, acid and sugar it contains. This depends on how mush sunlight it receives whilst it is ripening. This is why a tomato plucked fresh from your greenhouse will always taste much better than those bought in a supermarket which ware plucked when still green and allowed to ripen afterwards.
Plat your tomatoes in May when the soil temperature has reached 16 deg C. Do not start adding fertiliser until the first flowers have appeared. Make sure you water them regularly as each tomato plant can "drink" up to 5 litres of water a day when it is hot. |

Glazing Safety:
|
|
Most greenhouses are glazed with horticultural glass which can be dangerous if broken.
If your greenhouse will be sited in a public place, or where children or elderly people may be present, we strongly reccommend you choose the toughened safety glass (to BS6206) or polycarbonate safety glazing option.

Base Option:
|
All Eden Highline greenhouses need to be fitted on a base plinth.
This can be provided by using Eden's robust optional metal base plinth to give the green house added strength and height.
