Elite Greenhouses Limited is a third generation family business developed from an idea by founder Joseph Simpson, an expert craftsman of commercial greenhouses, and Elite began trading in 1974. The company was launched on the back of the success found in the commercial greenhouse markets where both founders were key players in the successful growth of Elite’s sister company.
 
The expertise gained from the commercial side was brought in and, from its humble beginnings, with just one style and size of greenhouses available, the cornerstone of the company was formed. Elite was, and still is, built upon the foundations of quality products, great service and tremendous value for money. Elite has used and developed these ideas to become one of the oldest manufacturers of greenhouses in the UK and even today, continues its special relationship with it’s sister company, which boasts a portfolio of customers and greenhouse experience dating back to its formation in 1948.
