Barretts Leisure started life over 30 years ago as a family run nursery and leisure centre. 20 years ago we began making our own sheds in a barn, many of which are still standing today. As time progressed we gave up manufacturing and concentrated on selling quality products, giving our customers as large a choice as possible at an affordable price.

We have a good reputation both locally and nationally with many orders received by recommendation.

We deal with most of the national companies and many smaller family run firms, both in this country and in Finland. Quality is our motto. We visit all our suppliers before adding them to our portfolio, they have to satisfy our high standards, before we will trade with them.

Likewise, we visited FinnPeak at their factory in the middle of a forest in Finland and met the Four brothers who run this family business.

They are only interested in producing very high quality log products and export these to many european countries.

We were very impressed with the dedication to overall detail, not only with the cabins, but the windows, doors and other fittings.

We have tried many other makes of Log buildings but none come up to the standard of the FinnPeak range.

So beware of the so called BARGAINS which may have hidden EXTRAS,especially with the log cabins, as many of these are made from unsuitable materials, coming from mid european countries, where the timber grows too fast for this type of building, in order to offer a cheaper product.

The results are that the timber logs, roof and floor boards absorb the moisture from the air and twist, doors are very often not laminated to prevent twisting, the timber is not kiln dried to the BS Standards and some are structurally weak.

Many of the so called BARGAIN sheds and cabins do not include floors or glass, and in the case of log cabins do not very often show the timber thickness.
