POSITION FOR YOUR SUMMERHOUSES AND GARDEN ROOMS

Firstly you must decide the position and area you are going to allot for your new Summerhouse or Garden Room and the type of material the building should be constructed of e.g. Deal or Cedar clad.

What design e.g. Octagonal, rectangular or square, with a plain felt roof, a felt shingle roof or a cedar slatted roof in the case of summerhouses and garden rooms.

SUMMERHOUSE CLADDING

There are two main summerhouse cladding types available, Shiplap and Loglap or Logroll as it is sometimes known as. These have two distinctive profiles, the shiplap is a flat tongue and grooved board with an attractive scallop at the top, whereas the loglap is an oval shaped tongue and grooved board, resembling a smooth log surface.
