With the Mirva log cabin you can play it by ear.

The Mirva has sportiness written all over it. It's your tennis club and cricket pavilion, a stable for the kids hobby horses.

There's room in the Mirva for all your kit and for the friends who share your love of the outdoor life. Call them round and take tings easy, enjoy the sun and play it by ear.

Finnforest Mirva log cabin is simple to build

Building your Mirva log cabin garage using the well-illustrated, step-by-step plans (supplied with each cabin) to guide you through each stage of construction is simple and straightforward. The result is a professional-looking job that you’ll be proud to call your own.

If you don’t have the time or inclination to do the job yourself: we have erectors working in several parts of the country or you can get a local builder or handyman to do the job for you.

Finnlife Mirva dimensions

Fine materials

Your Mirva log cabin components are precision-cut from top quality Scandinavian softwood for a perfect fit, first time.
The timber comes from well-managed forests where indigenous wildlife and forest industries co-exist – and where the rate of tree-planting exceeds the rate of harvesting.

Different cabins feature different log thicknesses. Thicker logs provide bigger cabins with additional strength, insulation, and resilience to cope with extended year round use.

The end profile of the different types and thicknesses of the logs may vary

Finnlife Weatherproof design

Another important feature of you Finnlife log cabin is the ingenious way that the logs interlock for strength and waterproofing, something you do not find on all log cabins. If this feature is not present it is very possible that when the logs dry out during the summer months gaps will appear in the corners, allowing the ingression of water and draughts.
At the corners, alternate layers of wall logs link via a wind-block timber engineering system that builds into a solid, weatherproof wall.

The upper and lower faces of wall log come with deep tongue-and-groove joints for a tight windproof join.
