Description, Quality and Detail:

Bertsch Holzbau log cabins are renowned as being the best and highest quality cabins and pavilions on the UK market today, overtaking and surpassing all other cabin competitors for design, quality, longevity and attention to detail.

The timber used throughout the cabin is from Northern Europe and soured from sustainable forests.
Timber from Northern areas has a tight, dense fibrous grain which will last for years and is resistant to movement and rot.
Every log 45mm and up has a Double Tongue and Groove and features a wind-lock system which creates a firm barrier against the elements and logs 45mm and over has a special conical profile for even higher stability.
This allows the logs to click into place making installation a 'doodle' this also creates resistance to movement which is so often found in cheap low quality log cabins.
The gable and upper logs are chamfered to match the angle of the roof, this is not always the case with other makes and allows the roof to sit firmly onto the walls making it far more secure, whereas many other makes cabins finish on the tongue and apart from not being able to secure the roof correctly it also prevents you from being able to get a full seal, unless you applying trim to cover the gaps. This one point can not only cause problems later if the building is being used for accommodation, studio or office etc.
Buildings with a log size of 45mm and up are Double glazing throughout as standard, the door and window furniture all conform to German DIN standards, this in itself is an assurance of the quality.
All the windows come with an anodized aluminium weather strips, Georgian bars and clear glass is bedded into silicone which does not deteriorate like rubber seals.
